What is a Barrisol stretch ceiling ?
A Barrisol ceiling is a non-flammable sheet of PVC (classified M1 in France, Bd B-S2-d0 in Europe, Class 0 in UK and Class I in the USA) which is tightened by the use of heat on the periphery of the walls thanks to a specific track system. (Patent deposited).
Thanks to the numerous amounts of Barrisol track lines used in installation all types of realizations are possible, including 3D forms and organic shapes.
We invite you to take a look at a video of a Barrisol ceiling installation.
Length : 3'32 min
This short video shows you how to install a Barrisol ceiling. It was recorded at an international construction exhibition at Batimat.
The video also simulates water damage depicted by a man in the ceiling. After the damage, the water is drained off of the ceiling, and the ceiling is stretched again with a specific heater and the ceiling returns back to its initial shape.
It's just amazing!
